**THE COMPANY**

Our client is a well-established building certification company which is based in Gosford on the Central Coast. They provide quality building certification services to clients on both residential and commercial projects across the Sydney, Central Coast and Newcastle region.

The company has experienced significant growth and are seeking to recruit a qualified building surveyor or a licenced builder to join the team in the role as a Building Inspector and accredited A3/4 Building certifier.

**THE ROLE**

Duties of the role include:

- Carry out the day-to-day functions of a Building Surveyor/Inspector in the capacity of inspection work including:

- critical/ mandatory stage inspections
- pre-final inspections and
- Provides advice to clients in a comprehensive written and verbal consulting role.
- Attend meetings and provide advice on regulatory compliance matters.
- Support junior inspectors and surveyors in all facets of inspections and audits.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Hold a current NSW Drivers Licence
- Hold A4 level accreditation with the Department of Fair Trading or ability to obtain from current qualifications (licenced builder, architect etc)
- Demonstrated experience in residential building
- Have a passion and drive for the construction and certification process.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
