**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Don’t want to be stuck behind a desk? We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning person to join our Operations team at our Acacia Ridge QLD 4110 branch. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm. You will mostly be working outdoors in the salvage yard and will work closely with your team to:

- Ensure all incoming stock is catalogued (features details and damage recorded), photographed and uploaded to our system accurately and within the required timeframes
- Unload stock from tow trucks as they arrive at the branch, sometimes using a forklift
- Remove salvage trucks, machinery and equip - this is salvage vehicles only. Main role is forklift operator.
- Assist in the set-up of the auction and sale yards by moving assets around the yard in preparation for the monthly auction
- Deliver outstanding customer service to vendors and buyers by cataloguing stock correctly and upon delivery of assets to buyers
- Follow all WHS policies and procedures as required
- Work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the branch

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Passion for salvage trucks, machinery and equipment, or experience in a similar role/industry will be highly regarded
- Current & valid drivers' license with ability to drive manual (**essential**)
- Hold a current and valid forklift license (**essential**)
- Attention to detail
- Competent verbal & written communication skills
- Basic computer skills/ability to use an iPad
- Ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team
