As a Horticulture Territory Manager at DIT AgTech, your primary responsibility will be to develop and drive new business growth within the Horticulture Sector. Based in our Toowoomba office, this brand-new role is a dynamic position developing new product fit for DIT AgTech’s technology.

Additionally, you will acquire new clients, maintain strong relationships with all new customers, and provide valuable feedback to the CEO and Sales Lead to enhance our product offerings and overall customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and target potential clients within the horticulture industry.
- Drive business development and integration of DIT AgTech’s technology into the horticulture sector.
- Set up proof of concept trials to prove up our offering to industry.
- Assist the CEO to develop revenue complex models to expand into the sector and solve industry problems.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business and expand the customer base.
- Create and maintain a pipeline of prospects and track progress through the sales cycle.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and providing the best solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on DIT AgTech's product offerings and industry trends.
- Provide customers with in-depth product knowledge to help them make informed decisions.
- Communicate customer feedback on product quality and performance to the SLT.
- Monitor the horticulture market, including industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
- Share market insights and competitive intelligence with the SLT to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and territory performance.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for the SLT, highlighting achievements and challenges.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in sales and business development within the horticulture or agricultural industry.
- Strong understanding of horticultural products and practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Current manual drivers licence. (essential)
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory.

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
