**The Role**
The Army Aviation Training Centre’s Training Management Cell (AAVNTC) (TMC) is seeking a professional, motivated and experienced Professional Development &Training (PD&T) Supervisor to lead the TMC.
The Army Aviation Training Centre is one of the most dynamic organisations within Aviation Command and offers a rewarding career, with the TMC being positioned in the Headquarters overseeing two separate Training Establishments at Swartz Barracks. The TMC Supervisor is responsible for:
- Ensuring that the TMC meets its PMKeyS records management and raising ACMS courses obligations
- Ensuring that the TMC assures the integrity of all PMKeyS entries made by PD&T Transactors
- Oversight and guidance of TMC processes and functions in support of the Army Aviation Training Centre’s in-house and exported courses.
The role will entail assisting and performing moderately complex tasks and procedural administrative activities across Army Aviation Training Centre’s Training Establishments. In addition, the role entails developing and maintaining an understanding of Army’s Training Instructions.
**About our Team**
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our specialist Training Management Cell (TMC) Team. The TMC Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision, management and conduct of the TMC staff. We are seeking an energetic, action-oriented person who can lead and deliver a range of information and records management outcomes.
The TMC is a small team workplace that will require adaptability and determination to provide information and records management support across the Headquarters and the Training Establishments.
You will be a team player and a ‘people person’ who will readily engage with staff on course management practices and process methodology. Your excellent interpersonal, negotiation and verbal communication skills will be required to regularly liaise and coordinate with a broad range of stakeholders including Senior Instructors and Course Managers, contractors, APS and ADF members within and external to Army Aviation Training Centre.
Highly developed written communication skills will be required to direct internal processes and develop documentation, plus to maintain information and knowledge sharing platforms. This is a desk-based position based at Swartz Barracks involving computer use and working with others towards shared goals in a collaborative environment.
