**The Role**
Are you seeking your next Payroll opportunity? Are you drawn to working in a community-focused environment? If so, we invite you to explore a full-time, permanent role at PLC as Payroll Officer.
This is a true “hands on” opportunity for someone to provide end-to-end support to the College’s fortnightly and monthly payruns (approx. 340 full / part-time and 346 casual staff). You’ll work alongside our experienced Payroll Administrator, who brings long-standing knowledge of the College and is keen to support your professional growth in this role.
Commencing as soon as possible, this role offers the opportunity to join a stable, leading school environment. You will be based onsite at our large, picturesque campus in Burwood, close to major arterials, with free onsite parking, and a range of attractive employee benefits.
**About You**
You hold a relevant qualification in Payroll, Finance or a similar field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Payroll Specialist.
Knowledge of Synergetic Payroll system or other enterprise payroll software, as well as up-to-date knowledge of Australian payroll legislation will ensure your success in this role.
In addition to your technical expertise, you’ll bring a collaborative, team-oriented approach, the ability to meet deadlines with precision and strong attention to detail, and a proactive, adaptable mindset that allows you to thrive in a dynamic, changing environment.
