**Who We Are**:
We are a one year old Evangelical Reformed Anglican Church plant from Multicultural Bible Ministry, Rooty Hill. We have around 150 adults and 50 kids from different cultures gather each Sunday. Our prayer is to see lives eternally changed by Jesus in the multicultural West of Sydney. We have a specialized ministry model with kids ministry staff serving across congregations and across Churches.

**Job Requirements**:
The key tasks of the successful applicant will include:

- Celebrate and set the direction for Kids Ministry for MBM Blacktown Church.
- Partner with parents (guardians, grandparents) in shepherding their children.
- Recruit, disciple, equip and support kids ministry team leaders and leaders.

**About You**:

- Personal Godliness (incl. faithfulness, trustworthiness and humility) is a high priority.
- Clearly thought through philosophy of Kids Ministry.
- Conviction and passion for children and family ministry, with a heart for lost children and ethnically diverse families of Western Sydney.
- Experience in teaching children of all age groups, with approximately three years experience in a ministry role in a voluntary capacity.
- A leader who can think strategically, cast vision, shift culture, who is a self-starter, a strong communicator, a team player (esp. staff team) and able to influence people.
- Commitment to a reformed, evangelical and complementarian position.
- Demonstrated ability to raise and equip teams of volunteers for ministry and equip others to do the same.
- Has a lot of fun

**It Would Also Be Helpful If You**:

- Have a suitable theological qualification
- Are familiar with Purpose Driven Church model
- Have a good working understanding of social media

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Celebrate and set the direction for Kids Ministry for MBM Blacktown, aligning it to the wider MBM Kids Ministry Philosophy.
- Encourage, equip and resource parents in their role as the primary shepherd of their children.
- Recruit, disciple, equip and support kids ministry leaders. This includes: meeting with team leaders and helping them to grow in their roles and coaching kids ministry leaders.
- Ensuring safe ministry practices are communicated, implemented and complied with in all areas of Kids Ministry at MBM Blacktown.
- Oversee the management of kids ministry resources and administration of kids ministry groups. This includes overseeing the use of music and being involved with the MBM July Holiday Club.
- Work in consultation with the MBM Kids Ministry Pastor.
