An exciting opportunity for a junior Financial Systems Officer within a WA State Government department.

**Your new company**
We have partnered with a government department client to assist in their search for a Financial Systems Officer. This is an exciting hybrid technology and finance role that will allow you to use a range of skills. You will be providing training and administration support to their FMS/ERP system, whilst also being responsible for maintaining the chart of accounts with the ability to exercise your Business Object reporting skills.

**Your new role**
As a Financial Systems Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Execute interface between FMS/ERP systems for accurate and timely transactions
- Answer queries and provide technical support for users of ERP system across the business
- Maintain chart of accounts
- Period end processing - daily & month end
- Create and assist with Business Objects reports

**What you'll need to succeed**
A passion for financial systems space is essential, as is:

- A bachelor's degree in accounting OR engineering OR IT
- Ideally have junior work experience in the field
- Analytical mind and problem-solving skills
- Ability to commit to a longer term role for potential permanency
- Strong communication skills
