Role Summary:
**Training and Licensing Coordinator**
**Perth, Western Australia**
**Reporting to the Regional Maintenance Manager, the Training and Licensing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of training, licensing and authorisation activities, the recording and monitoring of certificate records, and currency reporting for engineer qualifications in respect of the relevant role-based training programs.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the CASR Part 145 Maintenance Organization’s role-based training needs.
- Develop and implement long-term training plans for maintenance engineers and support staff and evaluate timelines and resources necessary to achieve the organization’s training demands.
- Maintain competency and currency records in the Organization’s Learning and Quality Management System, Pelesys.
- Issuance of regular training and engineer compliance reports.
- Liaise directly with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Maintenance Training Organisations (MTO) for Part 147 maintenance course availability, planning, scheduling and execution.
- Liaise with CHC training partner CAE, for the coordination of mandatory Aircraft Type Continuation and Human Factors Training.
- Coordinate the issuance of internal Company Maintenance Authorities, liaising with the AMO’s Responsible Manager and Quality Manager.
- Communicate training scheduling, course enrolments and training expiry notifications to crewmembers and ensure questions or concerns are handled in a timely manner.
- Coordinate Engineering Apprenticeship enrollment, progress and learning outcomes.
- Support the Regional Maintenance Manager in developing and maintaining training budgets and invoice reconciliation for external training.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
- Certificate IV Business Administration, equivalent or greater preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience as a training coordinator in a related field with some training, licensing and qualification administration experience preferred.
- Experience in regulatory environments (CASA / EASA), as well as knowledge in Part 145 and Part 147 Organizations and Part 66 licencing is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation and compliance management skillset.
- Good working knowledge of general software, PC hardware and web services.
- Excellent computer skills with demonstrated working knowledge of MS Excel and Word
- Ability to effectively deal with problems requiring solutions in a timely manner
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate and coordinate efforts across a large organisation (both internally and externally).
