**Job description**

**Purpose of role**:To aid in the preparation, assembly, delivery of quick hitches, the quality assurance testing of products and rectification of issues that are encountered.

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- QA Testing of quick hitches and relevant products following a specific checklist.
- Assembly of quick hitches.
- Use of a hydraulic pump to test various products
- Use of die grinders, angle grinders to fix/pass QA testing.
- Minimal painting of products using 2pac if the product needs modifications.
- Stock and warehousing duties.
- Where required, assisting in the development of safe working procedures for the workshop.
- Driving of the work ute to and from factories to collect/deliver stock
- Constant driving of the work forklifts to collect stock/unload and load trucks.
- Working in a small team of 5-8 people to get the product out to local and interstate customers
- Potential opportunities to work on site doing installs of plumbing/hosing kits. Changing over of broken hoses, quick hitches.
- Potential opportunities to fabricate hosing and hydraulic parts for our hosing kit department.

**Qualifications**
- Driver’s license required, forklift license preferred.

**Experience**
- No prior experience required. But highly preferred if you have hydraulic, mechanic and assembly experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Assembly benches are more than 2m apart from each other. Only a small group of people in one factory to practice safe distancing
