**About the position**
This role will be responsible for working with the business to implement national and local environmental program of works and risk management strategies, with protecting regulatory and social license to operate at its core.

This is broad role, encompassing:

- The maintenance of the ongoing license to operate and development of a high performing culture
- Work with key stakeholders to develop and implement improvement initiatives and technical programs of work
- Engage with the environmental regulators to ensure strong working relationships
- Drive performance improvement though investigation of significant environmental incidents

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or equivalent
- Previous experience in blue collar, high risk industry environments
- Incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Excellent written communication and report writing skills
- Strong time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
