Casual Pool Shop retail assistant

Immediate Start

We are seeking a new team member to work in our busy retail store. Rostered shifts will be during our store opening hours on Saturdays from 8.30am to 12noon and Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm. We close on all public holidays and Sunday.

Being a busy small family run business and a hard-working team, we are looking for someone who is a team player. There will be a lot to learn, so we need a mature minded person who picks things up quickly and takes action without being asked.

This role will include cash handling, pool water testing and advice, sales of pool and heating products, lifting of items around 20kg, use of our Crown forklift, opening and/or closing the store, general cleaning and all aspects of retail customer service.

We are looking for a reliable person, with a positive attitude to work and proven customer service experience is essential. The role requires a technically minded person with the ability to follow things through. Computer literacy is very important to this role as well as administration experience.

All on the job training will be provided.

**Salary**: $30.91 - $34.58 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (required)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
