The Data Analytics and Translation section is seeking enthusiastic and engaged Data Analytics and Translation Project Officers to join their team.

Key Responsibilities include:

- support small teams to deliver complex work programs to a high standard, particularly delivering innovative ideas to tackle challenging health policy problems using integrated data
- exercise sound judgement and provide advice on data-related issues for policy or programs
- maintain productive relationships with a range of stakeholders across the Commonwealth, academic and research sectors
- delivering or leading staff to deliver administrative functions for ongoing projects, including updating documentation and Secretariat support
- communicate with influence through written materials and verbal presentations, to achieve outcomes
- assist in the development and delivery of ad hoc training tailored to the needs of different areas
- assist with ad hoc work within the Section, including but not limited to preparing briefings, presentations or supporting broader HERD work programs
- support Branch data needs via data validation, management, methodology, visualisation, analysis and translation.
