**About the role**:
Our client is hiring for a full time Fleet Controller to work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work. You will look after a range of duties in order to ensure the smooth operations of the business, while reporting to the General Manager. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling a fleet of trucks and planning wharf terminal stack/tag runs
- Making and managing wharf bookings
- Managing client booking times
- Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
- Planning/managing daily container deliveries (sideloader and standard trailer)
- Liaising with clients, wharf terminals and drivers
- Ensuring the safety of staff and clients
- Administration - data entry
**About you**:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Have a strong level of customer service to internal and external customers
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to different situations and tasks on a day-to-day basis
- Sound understanding of safety at work, fatigue management, mass management, load restraint and chain of responsibility legislation
- Trouble shooter and problem solver
- Strong interpersonal skills such as reliability, flexibility, and punctuality
- Must be confident working autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with 1Stop, Container chain and Freight tracker (or similar) desirable - not essential
