**The role and what we're looking for**:
The Operations & Reporting Analyst is responsible for leveraging Capricorn's data virtualisation platform to produce and maintain a set of high-quality reports, as well as supporting various stakeholders in their day to day data and analytics needs.

**Key responsibilities **of this role include**:

- Partnering closely with stakeholders to understand and accurately capture their analytics and reporting requirements;
- Exploring the data that is already available in our virtualization platform, and identifying any data that needs to be made available;
- Enhancing and automating the existing reporting owned by the team, to reduce manual effort and add value for our stakeholders;
- Creating new reporting and metrics to surface insights that our stakeholders may not yet know about;
- Tracking data trends and anomalies to identify potential issues, and recommend possible corrections;
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency;
- Championing the tools that allow our stakeholders to self-serve their data needs; and
- Being an active participant of the analytics community at Capricorn, taking part in social events and representing our team.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Statistics, Data Science or a similar discipline;
- Proficiency with data analysis and visualisation tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI;
- Intermediate experience in SQL programming would be ideal.
