**Partnered Health are seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer for a permanent Full-Time position based at our head office on Melbourne Street, North Adelaide.**

Our company is made up of a number of established businesses that have been delivering health services to more than 5 million people over the last 20 years, including leading occupational healthcare provider Jobfit Health Group, Partnered Health Medical Centres, Northcare Physio, and Baseline Group.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Purchasing Officer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day purchasing activities of Partnered Health, ensuring that goods and services are acquired at the best possible price, in a timely manner, and in compliance with the organisation's policies and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day procurement transactional activities, including purchase requisitions, RFQ/RFPs, purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Identify potential suppliers for the goods or services required by reviewing supplier catalogues, price lists, and other sources.
- Conduct negotiations with suppliers and make recommendations for the selection of the best supplier based on price, quality, and delivery.
- Track the status of purchase orders and ensure that deliveries are made on time.
- Resolve any issues that arise with purchase orders, such as incorrect or damaged items, delayed deliveries, or incorrect invoicing.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions.
- Conduct periodic inventory checks to ensure that adequate levels of supplies and materials are maintained.
- Work collaboratively with other departments within the organisation to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with their needs and objectives.
- Maintain a database of suppliers and products, including pricing and other relevant information.
- Assist in ensuring that all procurement records are maintained in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
- Support the Procurement Manager to identify and implement strategic procurement activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a support role.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market research and analysis to identify new products, suppliers, and services.
- Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
