**Job description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and administer subcontract and supply agreements across assigned projects
- Execute project sourcing plans in compliance with budget, schedule, and contractual requirements
- Lead contractual negotiations with suppliers, ensuring appropriate risk allocation and alignment with main contract provisions (in coordination with the Legal and Commercial teams)
- Monitor supplier performance and contractual obligations, including handling variations and claims
- Ensure implementation and adherence to internal purchasing policies and procedures
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements, promoting efficiency and quality across the procurement cycle
- Support early procurement involvement in the bidding phase and collaborate with the Strategic Tender team for pre-bid agreements
- Scout and evaluate new suppliers to expand the qualified supplier base, especially for strategic commodities

**Preferred qualifications required**:

- 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Contract Administration, ideally in project-driven or multinational environments
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Enthusiastic and proactive approach to managing complex projects and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Strategic mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency in English and SAP systems
- Familiarity with Australian procurement regulations or willingness to learn is a plus
- Experience working with Italian companies is preferred.
- Availability to travel to Italy frequently

**Education**: Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field

**Salary range**: AUD 110,000 - 125,000 (per annum)
