Job Description Summary

Seeking an experienced Field Service Technician in Melbourne, to join our growing business and work on the installation and servicing of market leading medication dispensing equipment.

**Job Description**:
Purpose: The Field Service Technician will support our Victoria based customers in installing & commissioning new machines, fault diagnosis, repair and preventative maintenance of primarily the Automated Pharmacy Dispensing product, BD ROWA and BD Pyxis.

Main Responsibilities- As BD representative, exhibit professionalism always.- Work with Project Managers to plan, prepare and complete the installation of Automation equipment in alignment with installation SOPs and customer requirements.- Successfully complete installation of equipment to a high standard and in accordance with the manufacturer's direction for installation.- Plan, schedule and communicate Preventative Maintenance visits and breakdown visits to fit in with the customers’ requirements. Comply with Preventative Maintenance, service agreement and support SOP’s.- Machine commissioning and customer training- Participate in the after-hour’s roster of service, respond to all service orders received within the guaranteed response time, and properly close the orders per company policy.- Responsible for documenting all work (accurate and up to date) carried out in relation to repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration, performance, and electrical safety testing.

Job Requirements- Electronics/Computing, Trades Certificate, Engineering Certificate/Diploma or Degree- Experience in installation of large-scale robotics or conveyor/processing-based systems. (Essential)- Ability to read and interpret architectural design diagrams and electrical circuit diagrams for machine installation. (Essential)- Physically capable of lifting machine components into place and experience in safely managing carrying and placement of machine components. (Essential)- Strong technical knowledge, troubleshooting, interpersonal skills, as well as time management- Ability to complete technical repairs and upgrades to electro-mechanical equipment.- On call remote support required. Available to work travel and work interstate as requested on short notice.
