**About the company**

This company is a long established developer and EPC contractor within the utility solar, battery storage and micro grid project space. They are a loarge global company and are entering a growth phase in the Australian market. They have a strong financial backing with an impressive pipeline of work.

**About the Role**

Responsible for commissioning projects on site, the Commissioning Manager help to make sure that the products they are responsible for work properly and that they meet the client’s needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Solar farm commissioning
- Creating and carrying out test procedures and documentation
- Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults
- Liaising with project delivery team
- Supervising engineering and technical staff
- Writing reports and documentation
- Providing technical support
- Ensuring safe working conditions
- Training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Relevant engineering degree
- At least 3 years of successful engineering experience in the power or energy industry, preferably solar power or other renewable energies.
- Proven performer for technically complex projects.
- The ability to lead and give instructions to subcontractors
- Successful relationship building across a broad range of levels
- A team player with exceptional communication skills, a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for renewable energies
