As a Business Intelligence Officer in Air Force Training Group (AFTG), you will join a team that leads risk and performance reporting programs within Air Force, with a crucial role in:
- Providing corporate and operational business intelligence, contributing to the strategic planning and management of AFTG enterprise risk
- Leading planning, management and monitoring of AFTG enterprise risk, including coordination of risk activities and treatment actions
- Supporting AFTG executives by providing business intelligence and risk advice, drafting reports and briefs
- Managing Risk and Performance Management systems to inform decision making and resource prioritisation
- Engaging and communicating with stakeholders to identify, respond and provide advice to achieve AFTG business objectives
- Producing status reports on AFTG enterprise risk and performance
**About our Team**
The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) provides immediate and responsive military options across the spectrum of operations as part of an integrated and focused response on behalf of the Australian Government. AFTG is responsible for the provision of training to Air Force members and joint partners. AFTG uses world-class training and education philosophies, methods and tools to deliver innovative training that supports the force development requirements of the RAAF.
Headquarters AFTG (HQAFTG) is responsible for providing strategic planning, policy guidance, and support to Commander AFTG for the management of Air Force training. HQAFTG monitors the health of the overall Air Force training system at an organisational level, reporting key performance outcomes and managing enterprise level risk. AFTG promotes a culture of innovative leadership, teamwork, strong ethics, and professional development at all levels. An ability to rapidly distil complex information, identify critical issues and help to formulate appropriate responses is critical in order to translate and synthesise evidence and data into reports and briefs. You should have the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and be adaptable in your approach to work, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and excel at producing results under competing work priorities and manage challenging workflows. You will have high attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to tailor language to different audiences.
