About us
The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role
The Manager - Cash Office, is responsible for the efficient, timely and accurate management of the cash office functions as well as managing a team of adminsitration officers responsible for daily cash office functions, audio dubbing and subpoena documents.
The incumbent will also play a role in updating and developing processes in line with new and emerging techology within the court environment.
The Manager - Cash Officer will liaise closely with management, general staff across the court and court users.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be detail oriented, organised and able to set and manage priorities. A good working knowledge of financial management including the use of MYOB, accurately managing daily transactions and end of month processes.
Managing and training a small team the incumbent will need excellent communication skills and an understanding of working with a range people with different needs.
