Day to day, you’ll help older people live with dignity, whether that’s helping them get around, go to the bathroom, take a shower, or enjoy a meal with a friendly face - in line with their personalised care plan. **The requirements | What it takes to do this work**

No matter your role, it takes a real love of caring, a willingness to jump in and do the work, and a genuine desire to make a difference. As a Home Care Worker, you’ll also need:

- An empathy and commitment to the care of older people
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support OR prior experience in a related role
- Administer and Monitor Medications Certificate HLTHP007 (highly desirable)
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
- Availability to attend our 3 day on-boarding program
- Current First Aid certificate or enrolled to obtain
- Current Drivers License, a reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
