Australian Care Services is a registered NDIS Provider delivering a range of supports and services to people with disabilities to achieve their goals, and to facilitate their independence, social, and economic participation. We work in collaboration with our clients and their care providers to deliver proactive, comprehensive, and quality support that is unique, personalised and tailored to our clients’ needs and goals. We are establishing a new service in the Wollongong region.

We have an exciting opportunity for multiple Support Workers to join our team of qualified and experienced individuals on a casual basis.

The responsibilities include:

- Deliver high-quality service and support to our clients, taking a person-centred approach and ensuring their choices are prioritised
- Provide assistance to our clients’ according to their approved NDIS plan
- Support our clients’ in achieving their goals and aspirations
- Complete documentation and reporting as relevant and required
- Maintain and uphold our clients’ confidentiality and privacy

**Skills and experience**
- Demonstrated experience working as an NDIS support worker or experience working with an NDIS provider
- Relevant qualification in mental health, disability, home and community care is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational, time management, customer service, and verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently, and within a team
- Ability to engage, and interact with people from diverse backgrounds
- A positive, empathetic, and caring attitude towards everyone
- This role may be required to work flexible hours including weekends

**Mandatory requirements**
- Current NDIS Worker Check or you are willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Check
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willing to obtain a WWCC
- Hold an unrestricted NSW driver’s license

**Salary**: $23.00 - $39.00 per hour
