The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Social Worker - Advanced (Queensland Pelvic Mesh Service), to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Demonstrate an advanced level of knowledge and skills and clinical leadership in women's health, advocacy, support and psychological trauma
- Utilise demonstrated knowledge of the relevant resources, legislation and policy to effectively coordinate the delivery of key components of a patient's care
- Design and deliver novel and innovative social work services, optimising patient-centred outcomes

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- A University level Social Work degree accredited by the AASW
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 19
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

Salary
- Permanent part time (45.6 hrs p.f.).
- Base salary ranging from $65.63 - $68.49 per hour

This position will work within the Queensland Pelvic Mesh Service. This is a statewide service, committed to partnering with women to provide treatment and support relating to transvaginal mesh procedure complications. Based in Varsity Lakes.
