**The Opportunity**:
Our team is looking for an experienced Consultant - Forensic Accountant to focus on Business Interruption specifically. Based in Brisbane you will join a stable and knowledgeable team who work with a wide range of clients in a variety of industries, including some of Aon’s most significant accounts.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Handle client relationships throughout the life-cycle of a project of work
- Analyse Business Interruption values and Maximum Foreseeable Loss scenarios
- Interpret insurance policies to quantify losses claimable under insurance programmes and advise accordingly
- Provide and present reports and business documents outlining findings and recommendations
- Assisting your divisional managers and business leaders in establishing billing structures and preparing billings and control WIPS.
As a consultant throughout your work, you will be engaging proactively with senior internal stakeholders and the sales team to develop and maintain a sales pipelines and build strong interpersonal relationships.
**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will ideally have a strong background in Audit, Forensic Accounting, Insolvency, Business Interruption or Property Risk. We will ideally be looking for:
- CA/CPA qualification is a must
- 3+ years of forensic accounting/insolvency experience or an auditing background
- A strategic and organised individual who can think outside the box
- Experience at an insurance/broking organisation or loss adjusting background is beneficial
- Knowledge of preparation of business interruption insurance claims, economic loss assessments and fraud investigations is beneficial
- Exposure to analysing Business Interruptions and Maximum Foreseeable Loss scenarios is beneficial
- Experience managing clients and senior leadership teams through the life cycle of a project would be extremely beneficial
