Axlewood Analytics is a management consulting firm for the Sustainability age. Axlewood provides Strategy and Transformation advisory in various areas of Sustainability such as Biodiversity, Circular economy, Decarbonization, Energy Transition and ESG.

Axlewood is part of the CPM Consolidated Group of Companies and is a sister company to CPM Advisory & Project Management (CPMA) which is an advisory and project management consultancy delivering value across the entire project lifecycle to governments, asset-owners and project owners in the infrastructure and building sectors.

Climate & Sustainability (C&S) has been setup as a new division within Axlewood with a number of projects and opportunities in Biodiversity, Circular economy, Decarbonization, Energy Transition and ESG Strategy development across all industry sectors—to support our clients around the world. We are also the co-owner of klean.world, a Tech startup that is on a mission to decarbonize retail by helping brands (from fashion and beauty to consumer goods, health and beyond) to track, cut and credibly communicate their climate impact in real time.

**The Role**

As the Practice Leader - Sustainability, you will be in charge of the effective and professional planning and delivery of the Sustainability practice’s day-to-day operations and core support processes, in close collaboration with our Axlewood Leadership Team and your colleagues in other divisions of Axlewood.

Key responsibilities include;
- Supporting the development of client climate change, sustainability and/or ESG strategies on individual projects, including agreeing project outcomes and ensuring their delivery by the project team.
- Being a technical expert and promote innovation in a particular area of sustainability, such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, sustainable buildings, etc.
- Being a pro-active generalist, able to cover all major issues of sustainability with all relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting work winning through bid support, innovation, and client liaison.
- Supporting the drive for Axlewood to be a leader in climate change and sustainability.

**About You**
- 6-8 years of relevant experience (preferably in a professional services environment);
- Master's degree preferred
- Must have in depth Technical knowledge and experience in supporting clients on sustainability transformational journeys in areas such as Biodiversity, Circular economy, Decarbonization, Energy Transition and ESG Strategy development
- A positive, high-energy, can-do attitude and friendly communication style
- Exceptional organisational, planning and project management skills; strong at conceptualisation, follow-through, ownership and accountability
- Ability to independently resolve diverse problems and establish guidelines
- Experience and success in leading and coaching others and leading (project or permanent) teams
- Experience in multiple industries is preferable
