
Student Services Manager

We are a well-established RTO College that provides vocational education in Project Management and Marketing and Communication courses primarily to international students, centrally located within walking distance of Central Station and Town Hall Station.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Leading the Student Services Department, overseeing the delivery of high-quality student support services across assessments, attendance, enrolment, course progression, and orientation.
- Allocating tasks, monitoring workloads and conducting regular performance reviews of team members.
- Managing orientation day activities, ensuring new students receive comprehensive information about academic requirements, support services, and compliance obligations.
- Providing guidance to students on course requirements, attendance monitoring, academic progress, visa conditions, and referral to academic or pastoral support where required.
- Maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and culturally sensitive service environment for a diverse international student cohort.
- Ensuring all student records and communications comply with the ESOS Act, National Code 2018 (and SRTOs), CRICOS obligations, and internal college policies.
- Preparing compliance reports for management and external bodies, and contributing to audit preparation.
- Liaising and building strong professional relationships with agents, clients, and external stakeholders to support student recruitment and retention.
- Representing the College in dealings with external stakeholders including regulators, agents, and education partners.
- Managing internal communications to ensure students and staff are updated on policy changes, course information, and compliance requirements.
- Managing the student management system and ensuring accurate data entry, updates, and reporting.
- Overseeing record keeping, filing, and archiving in line with legislative requirements for data retention.
- Ensuring meeting minutes, scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative processes are accurately maintained and distributed.
Position Requirements and Preferred Criteria:
- Applicants must have proficient English communication skills in both written and verbal.
- Applicants must have proficient computer skills, particularly working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
- Applicants must have excellent attention to detail, time management skill and organisational skill.
- Preference given to Thai language speakers, as applicants will be interacting with clients from the Thai market, but not necessary.
- University graduates and visa holders with current and valid work rights are welcome to apply.

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
