Your New Role
We have an opportunity available for an experienced Diesel Fitter/Maintenance Supervisor to get off the tools and step into a Site Representative role at Curragh Mine. This is a 5/2 roster and you will be required to work closely with the client maintenance team to maximise machine hours for MacKellar's fleet of machines.
- Ensure planned servicing and repair maintenance is done with mínimal downtime and within cost requirements
- Work closely with the client to ensure our fleet is prioritised and maintained appropriately
- Monitor and oversee day to day maintenance requirements for our fleet
- Work with out internal team at our workshop if additional assistance is required
- Provide regular updates to management on our fleet and any repairs or maintenance requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic)
- Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Queensland driver licence
- The ability to work closely with a client and influence them for a good outcome for both parties
