Federal Government Scribe

**Your new company**

On behalf of a Federal Government Department, we are looking for a Scribe to support the required divisions. You will be required to attend different meetings and take accurate meeting minutes. This role is a 2-month assignment based in the Sydney CBD.

**Experience**
- They must also have experience and understanding of scribing itself and the demands that will be made of them during each scribing session.
- Writing speed: Scribes are required to write down information quickly for long periods of time.
- Legibility: Although writing speed is important, scribes must also be able to write clearly and neatly.
- Accuracy: Accuracy of transcription is important. The scribe must not re-word, restructure, fill out, or in any way augment what is dictated. Of course, accurate spelling is also important and is an essential skill for a good scribe.
- Good dictation practice - Dictation is the central aspect of scribing.
- Technical Proficiency: voice recognition software, and other technological tools. Mastery of these technologies not only expedites documentation.

**Skills/Attributes**
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST BASELINE SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Ability to multitask - juggling tasks with precision; scribes must simultaneously listen actively, record observations, and input data, ensuring that no detail is overlooked, contributing to accurate documentation and streamlined workflows.
- Attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills; facilitating effective communication
- Adaptability - Successful scribes demonstrate adaptability in swiftly adjusting their documentation approach to accommodate different scenarios.
