The Role

You will work closely with our Engineering Manager for Transcription and Note Generation and team as a Full Stack Software Engineer who will help create AI-powered solutions that transform clinical conversations into structured medical documentation.

You will thrive in dynamic environments and appreciate the collaborative, flat-structured work style we offer. You're interested in learning about the nuances of developing AI solutions for healthcare internationally.

  • You will build delightful scribe experiences for clinical conversations, helping clinicians focus on their patients.
  • You will collaborate with our AI/ML team to implement medical speech transcription and note generation capabilities.
  • You will work with APIs and services that power our transcription and note generation features.
  • You will contribute to systems that ensure accuracy and reliability in medical documentation generation.
  • You will help with performance improvements to enhance user experience in clinical settings.
  • You will learn about Heidi's overall architecture and adopting practices for creating reliable and maintainable systems.
What We Look For
  • Two or more years of professional software engineering experience, with strong skills in React and Typescript.
  • Experience working with, or theoretical knowledge of systems that integrate with ML/AI models.
  • Experience working with APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • A growth mindset—you're eager to learn about reliability and performance.
  • Bonus: Interest in healthcare, willingness to learn medical terminology, or curiosity about speech-to-text systems.
