Training Advisor

**Description**:
The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a Training Advisor to join our team at the Duketon Gold Project. Reporting to the Learning & Development Superintendent and in partnership with operational leaders, this role will facilitate, plan and administer a broad range of on-site training programs to our operational personnel.
This is a site based role - FIFO 8:6 roster.
About the Role
This role focuses on the delivery of operations-based training and includes the following activities:
Assist with the identification of training needs by conducting training needs analysis
Assist with the development and execution of training plans for departments across site
Identify and source suitable courses from external sources
Design, develop and deliver internal training packages to meet business needs
Assist in the coordination of on-site and off-site training
Conduct training courses and assessments including, but not limited to, orientation workshops, VOCs, safety awareness programs and inductions
Maintain training records, documents and packages
Maintain own currency, and improve on own, skills, competencies and qualification development
Evaluate the ongoing efficacy of training programs and packages and implement improvements where required.
**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
Minimum of Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (essential)
5+ years mining / processing operational experience (essential)
Experience with INX Intuition (desirable)
Knowledge and experience of training and assessment practices and associated legislation
Intermediate level user of MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent presentation and communicator skills with individuals and teams
Current WA class C manual drivers licence.
