**Talent Blueprint** has partnered with
**Mitchell Services** to appoint a Purchasing Officer. Their head office is based in Seventeen Mile Rocks.

As the
**Purchasing Officer**
**(Maternity cover with the possibility of an ongoing role)** you will be responsible for providing a high-level purchasing service to the operations of
**Mitchell Services**. This requires a service orientated department which is professional in its approach and is respected for quality, reliability, and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the right equipment is provided on time and at the best price possible.
- Negotiate with suppliers to establish cost and time efficient arrangements.
- Proactively participate in planning of day to day logistics.
- Work with the Financial Controller to prepare budgets and forecast expenditures.
- Timely, consistent, and accurate internal coding, processing of requisitions, release of purchase orders and receipting.
- Organize and control all necessary paperwork and ensure that procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory including critical spares.
- Maintain and update Pronto and purchasing system.

**About You**:

- Experience in similar purchasing/logistics role.
- Knowledge of mobile plant and equipment parts.
- You're an enthusiastic character who wants to progress their career.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, backed by solid numerical skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Have a positive attitude that will proudly represent the company.
- Experience with MEX & Pronto programs (Preferred but not essential).
