Junior Architectural Draftsperson

MAX Build find solutions to remedial challenges, servicing major remediation projects, high-rise facade maintenance and refurbishment works, and building adaptations and upgrades.

Projects are across Sydney but primarily in Sydney's east and lower north shore. The office is based in Potts Point.

**The role**

MAX Build is an expanding remedial construction company searching for an architectural draftsperson to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors in project planning and coordination
- Analyzing plans, regulations, and industry standards
- Developing initial sketches, detailed drawings, and project specifications
- Revising, refining, and updating plans, maps, charts, and technical drawings
- Managing work schedules and ensuring timely project execution
- Conducting inspections of materials and work to verify adherence to required standards and specifications
- Estimating project costs and determining time requirements
- Utilizing surveying tools and photogrammetric equipment to gather data
- Carrying out calculations and and plotting initial data
- Tertiary qualifications in architectural drafting
- Min. 2 years experience in a architectural/ drafting role
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Knowledge of construction standards and practices and the administration of construction contracts
- Understanding of the Building Code and requirements in the residential building industry, and accepted building practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships with Clients and teams

The role will entail managing multiple projects in the Sydney metro area.

Pay: $73,150.00 - $75,000.00 per year
