Delivery Manager

The Delivery Manager enables Agile teams to deliver high-quality services by being the central person in charge of removing blockers. They are often the first team member onboarded and help set up the project and the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibility areas:

- Monitors team delivery and deadlines-Helps remove blockers to progress project.
- Works with the product owner/manager to plan how to deliver the project progress to external teams.
- Facilitates project ceremonies. i.e: run daily stand up, weekly team meetings, retrospectives.
- Makes sure that the product backlog is up to date as well as any reporting & team space tools.
- Manages the budget with the Product Owner.
- Ensures the team works in an agile way.
- Ensures that the commonly used Agile ceremonies are booked, organised and happen (these include daily stand-up, retrospectives, sprint reviews and sprint planning).
- General support.
- Onboarding team members.
- Logistics of Discovery and testing i.e.: engagement with research companies.
- Escalate any project problems to the Principal Project Lead.
