The role performs test and evaluation activities, including liaising with Test Manager, System Architects, business users, business analysts, Business SMEs and vendor developers to ensure that planned testing meets their requirements and assisting with writing test plans, developing and executing Sprints, SIT, business End-to-End test cases, UAT, raise and manage defects and writing test reports etc.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Developing reusable ETL test artefacts for Data Migration.
- Performing Functional and ETL test execution - ensuring solutions meet agreed migration, mapping and performance standards.
- Demonstrated experience testing in an Agile environment.
- Good understanding of Data Migration and Mapping exercise.
- Deliver ETL testing, including liaising with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that planned testing meets the requirements.
- Perform test and evaluation activities including assisting with writing test plans, developing and executing test cases and writing test reports.
- Acquire and analyse all relevant documents for assigned projects to determine testing requirements and maintain full documentation of testing activities and results.
- Provide regular monitoring reporting, including tracking the progress of allocated test designs and test cases to ensure testing deadlines will be met and providing test status to Test Manager.
- Escalate defects identified during the testing phase in accordance with procedures to ensure prompt issue resolution.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience with ETL source to target mappings, transformations, and reconciliation / validation rules
- Solid script writing skills in SQL
- Experience as an MSSQL Database Developer in creating Stored Procedures and Views.
- Experience in test landscapes that include many integrated systems / environments, various stakeholders, and multiple vendor teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent or demonstrated equivalent industry experience in testing.
- Automation tool knowledge is as advantage.
- Experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (Quality Center), JIRA and Confluence.
- Demonstrated experience in the Application Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Methodology.
