**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Library Services team provides a range of Library services and programs for the community across the Cumberland City Council Library Service.

The Library Team Member is responsible for carrying out customer service duties efficiently and professionally, and to provide high quality customer service to both internal and external library customers. This role also participates in the delivery of programs and activities.

The successful applicant will require:

- Experience in a library or similar customer service environment
- Well developed literacy, numeracy and oral communication Skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team
- Experience in using computers and the internet in a professional environment
- Valid Working With Children Check number

**Position information**: This is a permanent, part-time position, working 35 hours per hour fortnight as listed.

**Week 1**
Saturday 11am - 2pm, 3 hours Wentworthville
Monday 12pm -2pm, 2 hours Lidcombe
Tuesday 11am -2pm, 3 hours Lidcombe
Wednesday 12pm -2pm, 2 hours Lidcombe
Thursday 12pm -2pm, 2 hours Lidcombe
Thursday 4pm - 8pm, 4 hours Wentworthville
Friday 11am -2pm, 3 hours Lidcombe

**Week 2**
Monday 12pm - 2pm, 2 hours Lidcombe
Tuesday 11am - 2pm, 3 hours Lidcombe
Wednesday 12pm - 2pm, 2 hours Lidcombe
Thursday 12pm - 2pm, 2 hours Lidcombe
Thursday 4pm - 8pm, 4 hours Wentworthville
Friday 11am - 2pm, 3 hours Lidcombe

This position will be located at Council's Lidcombe and Wentworthville Libraries, however may be required to work across any branch of the Cumberland City Council Library Service.

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 6 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $31.13 to $35.80 per hour, plus 10.5% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
