Our client, a global leader within the defence industry is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Scheduler to begin immediately.
**Your new role**

Reporting to the Ship Maintenance Manager, as Maintenance Scheduler your key responsibilities will be developing and maintaining the integrated project schedule for maintenance activities on the Royal Navy’s vessels. It will also involve ensuring the main work list aligns with the schedule, identifying material status for each task, updating the schedule during maintenance periods and providing required reports to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
You will also be continuously refining the schedule to improve productivity, providing schedule progress reports to stakeholders, conducting what if scenarios determining the impact of additional/new work, and supporting the maintenance team in establishing project budgets as well as compiling cost reports.
**What you'll need to succeed**

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in trade work planning activities, Marine industry preferred but not essential.
- A certificate IV, Diploma or equivalent within a Technical Trade, Engineering or Material
- Fluent with computer-based scheduling tools such as MS Project, Open Plan Professional, or Primavera
- Due to the industry environment, you must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
