(Remote) Virtual Group Fitness Instructor

We are looking for experienced group exercise instructors who can teach a variety of cardio, strength, abs and core fitness and mind-body classes such as Yoga, Stretch and Relaxation. Preference will be given to instructors with experience in virtual class instruction, and who know how to keep a virtual fitness class safe, exciting, and engaging for all participants?

**Requirements**:

- Group Exercise Certification(s) from a well-known and respected certifying company.
- 3 years of group exercise teaching experience
- Virtual class instruction experience
- CPR and AED Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association

What would be your responsibilities?
- Instruct effective, high quality virtual fitness classes
- Demonstrate correct exercise form, using appropriate verbal and visual cues
- Show modifications and progressions for all exercises
- Engage and motivate participants through our website and video platform
- Participate in the production check prior to each class

Required skills
- Stellar group exercise teaching ability and excellent camera presence that will translate on a virtual stage
- Ability to enthusiastically engage participants and keep them motivated during virtual fitness classes
- Create connection and community with participants over a virtual platform
- Maintain a high energy presentation throughout entire class
- Demonstrate comfort and presence working in front of a camera
- Ability to teach a wide variety of fitness classes
- Adept at learning and utilizing new technology
- Effective communication on proper exercise form and technique

Other needed qualifications
- Smartphone or camera capable of meeting video on demand and streaming requirements
- Sufficient internet bandwidth to sustain live streaming classes without interruption
- Comfortable with utilizing live streaming technologies
- Schedule flexibility to accommodate video production and sound checks
- Access to appropriate teaching space and background to provide exceptional video on demand and live streaming classes
- Ability to create and submit a 15-minute Group Exercise Class Demon prior to being hired

Pay: From $25.85 per hour
