**The Role**
The Sustainment Assurance Lead manages and delivers assurance activities for the Aeronautical Life Support Logistics Management Unit’s (ALSLMU) Sustainment Program. This position proactively seeks justified confidence, based on objective evidence, that the Sustainment Program is delivering expected performance and compliance outcomes. By effectively engaging our customers and Industry partner, the position will identify and resolve Risks, Issues and Opportunities (RIO) to assure Sustainment Program service delivery and improve performance. The position also manages integration of new Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) from Acquisition into the Sustainment Program

Other key responsibilities:

- Perform customer site visits to deliver Sustainment Program updates and perform root cause analysis activities as required.
- Support the Sustainment Governance Manager maintain the ALSE Product Delivery Agreement and administer incoming Sustainment enquiries.
- Provide data analysis to the Commercial Manager to support Commonwealth contract management obligations.

**About our Team**
Surveillance and Response Systems Program Office (SRSPO) ensures the availability and performance of highly complex surveillance and response airborne and related systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) - including the P-8A Poseidon. SRSPO also acquires and supports common Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) used on air vehicles operated by the RAAF, Navy and Army. We also support the MQ-4C Triton, a new remotely piloted high altitude long endurance aircraft system.

At SRSPO we are passionate about working collaboratively with our stakeholders and industry partners to ensure the necessary acquisition, sustainment and regulatory requirements are fulfilled. We do this to support the warfighter and achieve the Department of Defence’s strategic and operational objectives. This role resides in ALSLMU which is the ALSE Sustainment governance organisation. ALSLMU, via our Industry Partner, ensures delivery of ALSE logistics and engineering support across all crewed ADF platforms to meet the ADF’s capability requirements.
- You will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience in effectively managing a range of stakeholders.
- You will use this to develop and maintain effective relationships with our Industry Partner, ADF customers and support agencies to gain timely understanding of the RIO in the ALSE Sustainment Program.
- You will have highly effective data analysis skills in order to collect and monitor complex Sustainment Program data, and identify trends, issues and risks affecting Sustainment performance.
