**About the role**
This is an integral role and key in the delivery of our Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) program, where we provide sustainment activities for two LHDs, HMAS Canberra and Adelaide. Leading a team of four, this role will be responsible for the oversight of maintenance planning and execution of the LHD platforms. This role is the main interface with the clients Principal Maintenance Manager and is responsible for effectively conducting maintenance activities which are crucial to meet the requirements of the contract. As well as the management of diverse teams and stakeholders, you will contribute to the sustainment of key Defence assets for the Royal Australian Navy.

With strong interpersonal skills, you will build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, and work with them to implement change initiatives and innovative business solutions. With a passion for the Defence industry, you will also possess the following:
- Australian Citizen with NV1 security clearance;
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Project Management or another relevant area;
- Extensive maintenance experience in a field relevant to the sustainment of Naval Assets;
- Proven record of development, management and compliance with a maintenance governance structure compliant with or comparable to the DSwMS;
- Working knowledge of Asset Management best practice;
- A proven collaboration leader;
- Previous experience with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and/or the Capability, Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).
