**Participant Profile**:
Join our team in providing dedicated support to individuals with complex needs across our three SIL homes. Our clients require 1:1 assistance and have diverse needs including wheelchair use, hoist use, aggressive behaviors, mental disabilities, and medication management. We're seeking individuals who are adept at handling tough situations and are committed to providing compassionate care.

**Location**: Bankstown/Sefton/Parramatta/Revesby

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Ideally AIN certification
- Valid driver's license and access to a car
- Mental health certification
- Disability Certificate III
- Proficiency in de-escalating situations and managing verbal abuse
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with empathy and patience

**Area of Expertise**:

- Experience in mental health support
- Familiarity with dementia care
- Proficiency in hoist use
- Trauma-informed care approach

**Availability**:

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $34.90 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Disability Support: 1 year (preferred)
- Mental Health Support: 1 year (preferred)
- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification & CPR (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
