**The Role**
Working in the Intelligence and Air Program, you will lead the CAF15 Sustainment team with a mixture of APS, ADF and Contracted team members in sustaining Electronic Warfare systems used by the Australian Defence Force.

The CAF15 EL1 Product Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):

- Management of all FMS Cases
- Management of Finance and Budgeting Reporting
- Management of Sustainment Reporting
- Management of CAF15 Procurements and Contracts
- Management of Engineering Team

**About our Team**
The EWIS J&A SPO undertakes the acquisition and through-life-support of assigned Joint and Air Electronic Warfare Capabilities used by the Australian Defence Force. It delivers countermeasures development and validation services and supports a number of projects being delivered to the Intelligence and Security Group.

- A record of achievement in delivery of capability outcomes through the development, implementation and monitoring of product management strategies and plans, enabling delivery and reporting on the requirements and expectations of Defence assets.
- Experience managing and leading a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people.
- Experience in forecasting, planning and managing product management workflows and resources, preparation of work plans that detail measurable milestones and expected outcomes.
- The capacity to think strategically, develop plans and manage processes for a range of product management activities and coordinate inputs in accordance with procedures, methods and standards appropriate to the complexity of the product.
- High-level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve sustainment and capability outcomes.
- Experience in the analysis, develop and implementation of product management options that achieve optimal use of Defence assets, balancing cost, opportunities and risks against desired asset performance.
- Communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner while focusing on key points. Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft and review complex procurement and communications/approval documentation;
- The ability to negotiate and collaborate, build and sustain productive working relationships to enable effective transition of the Defence asset through the capability lifecycle.
- Respond flexibly to changing situations, including using sound judgement under pressure, to ensure the success of key product capability deliverables.
