About the role

As July's Retail Manager in our Galeries store in Sydney, you'll be at the forefront of startup life, getting hands-on experience on building a global company from a very early stage. Your role will be one of the most important we have; how the July brand and product is executed in the market, how all retail operations and actions elevate the brand experience.

Managing and informing the team across stores with new product launches, rosters, inventory, and events. This is a role for someone who’s looking to take our retail experiences to the next level through event engagement and customer driven ideas. We want you to take ownership of offline retail and turn it into a revenue and experience power-house.

This role reports to the Founders, Richard Li and Athan Didaskalou, and works closely with all departments in the business, especially our General Manager, Head of Finance and Operations team.

This is a position that looks to manage the growth of the brand across our existing site in The Galeries Sydney CBD. With international retail expansion on the cards we are looking for someone who is keen to take on the opportunity to own retail.

Key responsibilities

As the Retail Manager for our CBD store, you will oversee and manage the retail operations and growth for July.
- Manage staff training, hiring, and rosters for all retail team members and stores for July (Sydney)
- Execute ideas for amazing retail store experiences to generate awareness for the brand. Events, VM, launches etc.
- Work with Finance to set and strive for sales goals for both retail and the overall business.
- Provide insight into customer purchasing behaviour to support future development.
- Inventory management across stores.
- Analyse issues and improve, change or adapt existing sales methods and techniques.
- Ownership and key directive of customer experiences across all offline channels.
