IGA Condell Park is an independent and family owned business with a focus on providing quality products, freshest produce and best customer service to the local community. As our business is growing, we are currently seeking a Assistant Store Manager with an extensive experience in Supermarket operations, who will help us to successfully expand our business further.

To be successful in this role, you must:

- Be passionate about providing our customers with a positive shopping experience.
- Be a strong leader and able to take decisions with positive outcomes.
- Have expertise in retail supermarket industry.
- Be able to take control and lead the whole store and its departments such as fresh produce, bakery etc.
- Have food handling experience and maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
- Be able to multitask and handle day to day operations autonomously
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong and professional relationships with staff and customers.
- Assist store manager in day to day operations and making sure the store is well presented
- Overseeing customer service standards.
- Ordering and managing stock level while minimizing overall wastage.
- Ensure product quality is checked in deliveries and any discrepancies are noted and sent to suppliers and followed up.
- Ensure store is compliant with Health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Set product pricing and promotion to stay competitive whilst providing value to customers.
- Assist in setting up weekly promotions.
