Caporn Piling is seeking Crane Operators to join our national team. Caporn Piling has over 50 years’ experience in the piling industry and employs some of the most experienced pilers in Australia. The team of over 60 professionals have worked on some of the largest and most technically challenging projects in Australia. Our head office is located in Queensland and we have multiple projects site based opportunities across Australia.
Caporn Piling provides expert foundation design and construction solutions for large and technically challenging commercial, industrial, residential, infrastructure, mining and resource sectors.
As a Crane Operator, the responsibilities and duties will include:
- Operate and maintain a crane and its associated equipment in accordance with the OEM specifications and Australian standards
- Operate cranes for the installation of foundation piles in a manner to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Manual handling of heavy goods where required
- Maintain daily logs and records of work performed including maintenance checks, pre-starts etc.
- Housekeeping of equipment and site
- Ensuring all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous crawler crane operation experience 3+ years’
- Has experience operating crawler cranes (telescopic & lattice)
- HRWL - CO, DG, RI
- Experience operating the following cranes: Manitowoc M12000, Manitowoc M8500, Sany SCC80, Kobelco CKE2500-F, Liebherr LR1300
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/ alcohol screen (as required by our clients)
- Current Driver’s License
- Construction Industry Safety Card
- Willing to work overtime as required
- Willing to work in a variety of weather conditions
- The ability to work at heights as required
- Willing to travel and work away from home as required
- Understands and believes in the company culture of “safety first” and “look after each other”
- Is ready to take on new challenges and willing to learn

**Salary**: $46.13 - $48.74 per hour (Commensurate with skillset and experience)
