Passionate and Fun Piano Teacher

CT School of Music is a vibrant and growing music school passionate about nurturing students’ creativity, having fun and being real. Formerly CT Piano Studio, we’re expanding into a dynamic new space and seeking a creaitve piano teacher to join our close-knit team on a subcontractor basis. We believe music lessons should be inspiring, fun, and tailored to each student’s journey.

**About the Role**

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Teaching one-on-one piano lessons (primarily beginners to intermediate students)
- Creating a fun, positive, and encouraging atmosphere for learning
- Tailoring lessons to suit students’ needs, learning styles, and goals
- Maintaining professional communication with students & families
- Preparing students for performances, exams, or personal goals as needed
- Potential for holiday workshops

- Passionate about music and genuinely want to make music fun
- Able to make lessons fun, motivating, and interesting
- Well-presented, friendly, and reliable
- Comfortable adapting your teaching style to suit different learners
- Open to feedback, collaboration and eager to grow within a supportive team
- Confident teaching students of different ages and abilities

**You’ll Ideally Have**
- Teaching experience (private or school-based)
- A current or completed music degree (or equivalent training/experience)
- A valid ABN
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

To Apply:
**Job Type**: Subcontract

Pay: $45.00 - $56.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Monday to Friday
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Commission

Work Location: In person
