Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force's existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies in Australia and our region.

As part of our maturity and growth, we are seeking a
**Security Specialist** implement all aspects of protective security ensuring compliance with program, contractual, regulatory and company security requirements in accordance with the DSPF, ISM and Northrop Grumman policies.

The Security Specialist will also maintain and facilitate the DISP requirements by maintaining security accreditations, management of security clearances, facilitating awareness training and managing access control.

This role is primarily based out of Richmond (NSW) with occasional travel to our Mascot based office.

**Skills, Experience and Qualifications required**:

- The ability to attend and complete Security Officer Course within 6 months of gaining position.
- Cert IV in Security (or equivalent)
- Have the ability to interface with Defence on security requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Experience in Australian Government Security and the ability to interpret Defence policy documents.
- Must be an Australian Citizen ideally holding a current Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.

**Desired requirements**:

- Cert IV in Government (Investigations)
- Risk Management qualifications
