As a key member of the Community Capacity Building team, you will coordinate activities aligned with the City’s Strategy for Early Years, Children, and Young People 2024 - 2030. You’ll oversee the day-to-day staffing, operations, and programming at the Rockingham Youth Centre, ensuring it remains a safe, welcoming, and innovative space for young people. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with other City of Rockingham teams and external stakeholders to activate various spaces and facilities, empowering young people to engage in a wide range of programs and services across the City.

**WHAT WE ARE OFFERING**:

- A salary of $97,537 - $103,141 per annum
- Option to work a 19 day month or a 9 day fortnight
- Flexible working arrangements
- Two additional paid days of absence per annum
- Opportunity for study leave / support
- 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%

**Selection** **criteria**
- **Leadership**: High-level leadership skills with demonstrated experience in coordinating and managing a team.
- **Facility Management**: Experience in managing and overseeing a community facility.
- **Youth Sector Knowledge**: Comprehensive knowledge of the youth sector, including statutory and legislative requirements, as well as youth work principles and ethics.
- **Communication & Strategy**: High-level verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including research and analysis, report writing, strategy development/review, contract oversight, and grant management.
