**Experienced Female Mental Health Support Workers - Inala area**

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Female Mental Health Disability Support Workers to join our team in the Inala area. This position requires working closely with participants who enjoy a range of activities and require support in their daily life._

**Essential for the role**:

- Valid work rights in Australia
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Current Blue Card/Yellow Card/ NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Queensland Driver's Licence
- Minimum of Certificate 3 in Disability / Mental Health/ Individual Support / Aged Care / Nursing / Health Services Assistant Or be a current Nursing student (should have completed Cert III equivalent placements) _**or willingness to obtain**_
- English as preferred language
- **Experience working with adults with intellectual impairments is highly desirable.**_

**About the role...**

Within this role you will be expected to perform direct care duties with compassion and professionalism. These duties may include:

- Assistance with daily hygiene (showering, dressing, toilet)
- Assistance in meal preparation and shopping
- **Supervision** of medication
- Daily activities such as laundry or cleaning
- Transporting to appointments
- Facilitating community participation and inclusion
- Providing companionship and support
- Prompting positive routines and behaviours in a cooperative and respectful manner
- Following Care Plans and assisting in working towards NDIS goals,

Ability to commute/relocate:
