Downer has been selected as preferred applicant to deliver Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland history. Design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of a manufacturing facility on Fraser Coast of Queensland, design and build of a train depot, and a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain - a true legacy to be created for Queensland.

We have a great opportunity for experienced Technical Review Stakeholders to join our team and work closely with our Design and Engineering team to ensure quality and consistency of our designs and that reviews are completed within contract timeframes.

**Experience**
- Rollingstock/Maintenance Facilities/O&M
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Qualified Engineers - Bachelor Level (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Equivalent)

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure pragmatic approach adopted for the Design Reviews and reflected in Design Review Comments
- Ensure consistency in approach to design reviews process.
- Ensure that Engineering Verification Plan is adopted.
- Maintain the accuracy and currency of the Engineering Verification Management Plan
- Interface with Engineering discipline leads to ensure that appropriate quality is maintained, and concerns are reflected in the comments.
- Ensure that appropriate SME’s are engaged in Design Package reviews
- Review Design Review Comments prior to issue back to project packages to deliver consistent high-quality objective constructive comments.
- Coordinate SME design Review progress across disciplines
- Review interface design packages as required.
- Ensure consistent review comments included in design review comments issued to Project Package
- Provide Peer Support and coaching to Review Engineers
- Accountable for a package design review as appointed by Design and Engineering Manager
- Accountable for consistent high-quality objective and constructive design review comments
- Review design package listings received from Project Packages, develop a resource plan and advise Engineering Manager of resource concerns and recommended actions.
- Ensure that design package reviews are completed within contract timeframes.
