We are currently seeking an experienced trade qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a permanent basis to provide frontline mechanical maintenance for a Nitrates Plant facility.
- You will be responsible for the maintenance, performance of and engineering improvement of all mechanical equipment within the Plant area to ensure optimal uptime and long-term reliability.

**To be considered for a role you will require the following along with excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to work within and contribute to a productive, cohesive team.**

**About the role**
- Ensure the safe working of the Nitrates Operations area by ensuring a compliance culture to standards, procedures and statutory requirements
- Provide maintenance of all mechanical plant equipment including rotating machinery, conveyers and materials handling equipment, valves and piping
- Improve plant performance by identifying RCA on repetitive equipment failures and implement plant modifications to eliminate root cause of failure
- Continuous improvement of maintenance plans and systems by assisting in the development of maintenance improvement strategies
- Accountability for ensuring compliance with site and statutory standards for mechanical systems, including:

- Pressure systems
- Hoses
- Lifting Equipment
